Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Learning Design Lead to diagnose workforce skilling needs and translate technical gaps into scalable, learner-centered solutions for our Tech organization.

You will partner with SMEs and Tech leaders to improve associate performance using performance consulting and adult learning principles. The role requires leading design from discovery to measurement, working with various modalities, and applying AI-enabled tools while ensuring governance and human validation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 8+ years designing end-to-end learning solutions for technical audiences.
• 8+ years applying learning methods (ILT, VILT, eLearning, job aids, microlearning).
• 5+ years defining learning success measures & evaluating effectiveness.
• 5+ years applying instructional design, LXD, or performance consulting in a corporate/tech environment.
• Ability to create/edit multimedia using industry tools (Articulate 360, Captivate, Adobe).
• Experience with Cornerstone OnDemand or similar LMS.
• Strong knowledge of eLearning standards and Adult Learning Theory (ADDIE/SAM).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose learning needs and skill gaps aligned to business priorities.
• Design and deliver learner-centered experiences across ILT, VILT, eLearning, microlearning, job aids, and performance support.
• Translate complex technical concepts into role-relevant learning with SMEs.
• Partner with Tech leaders and SMEs to validate content and prioritize critical tasks.
• Define learning success measures and evaluate outcomes with data and feedback.
• Configure, test, and maintain LMS assets to support deployment, tracking, and reporting.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools to accelerate analysis and content development with governance.
• Develop and prioritize skilling roadmap with the Associate Director.
• Provide consulting on learning requests for Tech colleagues.
• Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes to leaders and stakeholders.
• Provide LMS support as needed; assist with implementation and maintenance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
