Job summary

Springboard is seeking a seasoned Content Development Manager to join our Learning Experience Design (LX) team. You will own end-to-end content creation across modalities, collaborating with SMEs and instructors to shape engaging AI-enabled courses that help adult learners successfully change or uplevel their careers.

You’ll manage timelines, leverage AI tools, and write, edit, and proofread instructional content to a high standard while maintaining quality standards across the team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in learning design, content development, and/or course development.
• Content development experience across modalities: written content, video production, live/webinar facilitation, learning games, audio/podcast production, etc.
• Exceptional writing, proofreading, and editing skills. You are the colleague people send drafts to because you have an impeccable editing eye.
• Proven ability to work with SMEs and instructors to sharpen and refine their material – and translate it into course elements.
• An outcomes focus: experience designing and building learning experiences attached to ambitious KPIs.
• Ability to independently manage your own project timelines.
• Demonstrated experience using AI tools to support content development.
• Experience developing AI, tech, or data courses OR background in healthcare or Allied Health instructional content.
• People management experience is not required, but is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of course content development across multiple modalities.
• Act as a "Learning Producer" for new courses - developing a vision for both synchronous and asynchronous learning components of courses - and executing on that vision.
• Write, edit, and proofread instructional content to a high standard of clarity, accuracy, and learner-friendliness, leveraging AI tools.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate and enhance content development workflows.
• Partner cross-functionally with project managers, the LX team, client-facing teams, and other internal stakeholders to ensure content meets business objectives and launch timelines.
• Maintain and continuously improve content quality standards across the team.
