Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Lean Leader for Software & Controls Solutions to own and drive operational excellence across critical functions. You will champion lean practices, coach leaders, and promote kaizen across value streams to improve efficiency and stakeholder satisfaction.

Responsibilities include deploying Lean Operating Method, maintaining monthly rhythms and KPI reviews, and scaling improvements with cross‑functional teams. Travel 20–50% is expected; relocation not specified.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in implementation and leadership in Operations / Lean / Quality / Continuous Improvement, with experience in deploying Lean.
• Strong knowledge of lean fundamentals and operating methods.
• English fluency.
• Willingness to travel 20–50%.

Responsibilities

• Lead the lean operating strategy for Software & Controls Solutions aligned to Business Operations priorities, growth objectives, and efficiency targets.
• Partner across Business Operations value streams, Software & Controls segment teams, and stakeholders to ensure consistent deployment of Kaizen Promotion Office standards and the Lean Operating Method.
• Own Lean Operating Method deployment by assessing baselines, identifying improvement opportunities, coaching leaders, and driving maturity across all required elements.
• Strengthen monthly operating rhythms, KPI reviews, and structured problem solving to improve process effectiveness, execution discipline, and measurable performance outcomes.
• Define and deploy kaizen standards for scoping, planning, execution, participation, reporting, and sustainment, including support for Leaders Driving Change and enterprise kaizen initiatives.
• Manage sustainable productivity program through integrated value stream roadmaps, simplification of complex processes, waste reduction, lead‑time improvement, and cross‑functional alignment.
• Champion innovative solutions, including automation and AI, to improve execution, scale best practices, and enable more efficient and effective processes.
• Build an inclusive culture of continuous improvement aligned to the GE Vernova Way, with strong focus on EHS, quality, engagement, and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Deliver consistent, measurable, and sustainable year‑over‑year results on key KPIs through Lean Roadmap development and implementation.
