Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a lean manufacturing capability leader to build capability across GEV teams through hands-on improvement, training, and coaching. You will work with site leaders, operators, and cross-functional teams to strengthen practices, solve problems, and build sustainable ways of working.

The role focuses on learning and development in manufacturing, applying lean tools like Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, Daily Management, 5s, Standard Work, Kanban, SMED, and TPM, while leading by

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• 7+ years of experience leading or supporting improvements in manufacturing environments.
• Hands-on experience with core lean tools in complex environments as listed.
• Experience delivering training, coaching teams, or facilitating workshops.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to work across functions and drive change at scale.

Responsibilities

• Support development and delivery of training and capability-building programs.
• Facilitate hands-on workshops on lean tools and methods.
• Partner with manufacturing teams to identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and inventory.
• Lead and support kaizens and improvement initiatives.
• Coach teams and leaders on lean behaviors and daily management.
• Help assess current lean capability and support development plans.
• Support deployment of GE Vernova Operating Method through practical implementation.
• Encourage a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, inclusion, and learning.
• Ensure smooth logistics and coordination for classes and programs.
• Content development and improvements.
