Job summary

GE Vernova in Pensacola, FL is seeking a Lean Leader to drive continuous improvement across manufacturing and related functions. You will lead hands-on Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen events, and coaching to operationalize the GE Vernova Operating Method while building organizational capability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Operations, or Business.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
• Sustainable changes demonstrated in manufacturing and transactional environments via end-to-end VSM.
• Excellent communicator; experience leading cross-cultural teams in large, matrixed organizations.
• Collaborative, adaptable, and skilled at navigating change and conflict.
• Mentoring and coaching abilities with a focus on humility and transparency.
• Strong interpersonal, writing, and presentation skills; able to tell compelling stories.

Responsibilities

• Leads Value Stream Mapping across the company; facilitates Kaizens and coaches teams to drive lean transformation.
• Builds and delivers hands-on training on Lean methods and foundational tools.
• Leads Kaizens and improvement projects through Lean tool implementation to drive process gains.
• Deploys operational strategies around SQDC and sustainability.
• Develops and deploys Lean tools to drive core revenue growth (Kanban, TPM, SMED, etc.).
• Assesses team competency and supports GE Vernova Roadmap development.
• Manages governance and operating processes (Hoshin Kanri) at leadership level.
• Fosters engagement, diversity and high employee satisfaction.
• Leads transformation initiatives to optimize end-to-end processes.
