Job summary

The State of Minnesota is seeking a Leadership and Talent Development Consultant to design, implement, and continuously improve leadership and onboarding programs for DHS. This role focuses on developing a cohesive portfolio that strengthens leadership capability, succession readiness, and organizational bench strength.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of experience in learning and development, talent development, leadership development, organizational development, employee engagement, human resources, program development, or a closely related field.
• Experience developing, coordinating, implementing, and/or facilitating learning, employee development, or leadership development programs.
• Experience developing or adapting curriculum, learning materials, presentations, or development resources for adult learners.
• Ability to facilitate programs, presentations, meetings, or learning experiences for diverse audiences.
• Ability to coordinate multiple programs, projects, priorities, and deliverables simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, curriculum development, facilitation, evaluation, and continuous improvement of the DHS new employee experience, including New Employee Orientation and the Neon Network.
• Coordinate the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of department-wide leadership and talent development programming.
• Coordinate and implement mentorship, cross-functional employee development, and integrated talent development initiatives.
• Provide functional leadership, project direction, consultation, and coordination for assigned OEC work and special projects.
