Job summary

Minnesota Department of Human Services seeks a Leadership and Talent Development Consultant in Saint Paul. This full-time role designs and implements onboarding, leadership development, mentorship, and talent initiatives to strengthen leadership capacity and organizational bench strength.

You will work across DHS and the Office of Employee Culture, collaborating with HR and senior leaders to assess needs, develop programs, and use data to inform continuous improvement. Travel is not required.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of experience in learning and development or related field.
• Experience developing and facilitating learning or leadership programs.
• Experience designing curriculum for adult learners.
• Ability to manage multiple programs and deadlines.
• Use data to evaluate needs and drive improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, facilitation, evaluation, and improvement of onboarding and leadership programs.
• Coordinate and implement department-wide leadership and talent development initiatives.
• Oversee mentorship and integrated talent development activities across units.
• Provide leadership and project coordination for OEC work and special projects.
