Job summary

Actalent Services, LLC is seeking an experienced Transmission Line Engineer Lead based in New Albany, OH. You will oversee a small department, coordinate training, and collaborate with internal and client engineers on high‑voltage transmission projects.

You will model designs with PLS-CADD, prepare construction documents, and ensure compliance with plans, schedules, and regulatory standards. A PE license and ABET credentials are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering (ABET)
• Master’s Degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering (ABET) will count toward years of experience
• A PE License is required

Responsibilities

• Engineer and design activities related to Transmission Line Engineering including analysis, route selection, material acquisition, design and construction management
• Prepare project construction documents: plans, drawings, specifications, schedules, BOMs
• Develop design alternatives and cost estimates
• Design transmission line facilities from 69 kV to 765 kV and model with PLS-CADD
• Lead, train, and mentor engineers; coordinate with contractors and regulators
• Serve as engineering project lead for transmission projects; supervise and coordinate work groups
