Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Transmission Line Engineer for a fully remote role with base of operations in Atlanta, GA. The successful candidate will perform engineering design and project leadership for transmission lines up to 765 kV, collaborating with in-house and client engineers and overseeing a small team.

Qualifications include ABET-accredited Bachelor's (required) and a Masters (count toward experience). PLS-CADD proficiency is preferred. Travel for site visits is occasional.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering.
• Master's Degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering (ABET) will count toward years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and design transmissions line projects including analysis, route selection, materials, foundations, and construction management.
• Prepare project construction documents: plan and profile drawings, specifications, schedules, and bills of material.
• Develop design alternatives and cost estimates for transmission line projects.
• Design transmission line facilities from 69 kV to 765 kV.
• Lead, coordinate, and train junior engineers; provide mentorship and guidance.
