Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Senior Transmission Line Engineer for a fully remote role in the United States. The engineer will lead transmission line design from 69 kV to 765 kV, oversee a small team, and coordinate with in-house and client engineers and contractors.

The role requires ABET-accredited degrees, PE licensure, and a Master’s degree counted toward experience. Expect project leadership, training, and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• This role requires a PE license and ABET-accredited engineering degree.
• Experience leading transmission line projects and mentoring engineers.
• Ability to model and design 69 kV–765 kV systems and manage complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, routing, and construction management for transmission line projects.
• Prepare construction documents, schedules, and material lists.
• Coordinate with agencies, contractors, and internal teams.
• Provide leadership, training, and performance objectives for staff.
• Travel to site visits as needed.
