Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Transmission Line Engineer for a fully remote role. The successful candidate will design transmission line facilities up to 765 kV, perform engineering analyses, and prepare construction documents.

You will lead projects, coordinate with clients and regulators, and mentor junior engineers while utilizing PLS-CADD to model designs. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering (ABET) with Experience recognized for a Master's degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering (ABET)
• Masters Degree in Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering (ABET) will count toward years of experience

Responsibilities

• Design transmission line facilities and perform engineering analyses for 69–765 kV projects
• Prepare construction documents and material specifications
• Lead and mentor engineers; oversee project scope, schedules, and budgets
• Coordinate with contractors and regulatory agencies; ensure safety and compliance
• Model transmission line designs using PLS-CADD; attend bid and construction meetings
