Actalent is seeking a transmission engineer to join the US-based team in a fully remote contract role. You will design transmission lines, develop construction documents, and model projects with PLS-CADD while coordinating with clients and regulators.

The position is based out of Dallas, TX, and may involve collaboration with internal and client engineers to ensure safe, efficient project completion. Requirements include at least two years in transmission line engineering, a ABET-accredited

Formación

• Minimum two years of transmission line engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering (ABET).
• Master's degree (ABET) will count toward years of experience.
• PE License desirable but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Engineer and design transmission line projects, including routing, materials, and construction management.
• Prepare construction documents such as drawings, specifications, and bills of material.
• Develop design alternatives and cost estimates.
• Model transmission designs using PLS-CADD.
• Lead project meetings and coordinate permits with authorities.
