Job summary

Maximus seeks a Lead Security Engineer to support AI, Enterprise Architecture and Business Development with cybersecurity guidance. You will drive security controls, risk-based decisions and cloud security initiatives across government-focused programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of security engineering experience.
• Experience with US Federal government security engineering.
• Knowledge of NIST 800-53 and NIST 800-171 controls.
• Strong CI/CD security knowledge and secure software pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert on Information Security solutions and guide other engineers.
• Lead or contribute to security projects and provide technical leadership across teams.
• Implement, configure, and maintain Information Security solutions following best practices.
• Coordinate enterprise project work and align resources across teams.
• Prioritize and direct program elements based on risk and business objectives.
