Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a senior engineer with extensive SCADA and cybersecurity design experience for global substations and O&M centers. You will lead a design team, ensure compliance with NERC CIP and IEC 62443 standards, and coordinate with multiple disciplines.

Travel up to 20% (international included) and delivery of high-quality, cost-effective solutions are key aspects of this role within GE Vernova's engineering organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
• 7 years’ experience in Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in Utility, Renewable and/or Industrial HV & EHV substation’s cybersecurity systems design.
• Willingness to travel 20% of the time, including international.

Responsibilities

• Ensure design compliance with NERC CIP requirements and cybersecurity standards.
• Provide functional design specifications for SCADA and cybersecurity systems across multiple sites.
• Lead project design team to deliver high-quality product on time and within budget.
• Review and coordinate detailed designs from vendors to ensure optimized SCADA and cybersecurity designs.
• Coordinate SCADA and cybersecurity design with other disciplines and sites.
