Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a Technical Leader to design and implement comprehensive solution architectures for distribution automation, cybersecurity, and substation modernization. You will lead technical projects from design through commissioning, coordinating with field engineers, sales, and customers to translate needs into actionable specifications and validated solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in electrical/related field.
5+ years in digital protection & control or energy management design.
Experience in distribution automation, process bus, substation digitization, APM, DvM, or cybersecurity management.
Proficient in SCADA/HMI, cybersecurity, network equipment, IEC61850, and firewalls.

Responsibilities

Lead Technical Projects from design to commissioning.
Serve as main technical interface with the customer and lead technical meetings.
Participate in risk reviews, budgets, and progress updates with the Project Manager.
Analyze specifications, write technical documentation, and validate solutions with customers.
Specify software and IEDs, plan execution, and ensure safety standards.
Lead tests (FAT/SAT) and coordinate with commissioning teams.
Provide training and support to customers, and assist tendering and commercial teams.
