Job summary

Lawrence Harvey Search & Selection is seeking a Lead Robotics Engineer for remote work in the United States. The role focuses on technical ownership of projects spanning robotic arms, humanoid and legged robots, and automated systems.

You will drive development from discovery to deployment, covering motion planning, controls, simulation, and hardware integration. The ideal candidate has strong C++ and Python skills in Linux, ROS/ROS2, MoveIt2, and hands-on leadership experience in robotics teams

Qualifications

• Strong C++ and Python development in Linux environments.
• Experience with ROS/ROS2 and MoveIt2.
• Knowledge of motion planning, trajectory optimization, kinematics, dynamics and control.
• Experience with robotic arms, mobile robotics, humanoids/industrial automation.
• Simulation-based robotics development; NVIDIA Isaac Sim is a plus.
• Experience integrating sensors, actuators, end-effectors with hardware/software.
• Proven ability to lead robotics engineering teams or technical workstreams.
• Familiar with CI/CD, Git, CMake, GTest and modern software practices.

Responsibilities

• Take technical ownership of projects spanning robotic arms, humanoid and legged robots, mobile platforms, end-effectors and automation systems.
• Lead engineering workstreams from discovery through development and deployment across motion planning, controls, simulation and hardware integration.
• Mentor engineers and set technical standards for the robotics practice.
