Resumo da vaga

Humana, Inc. is seeking a Lead Product Manager to own the measurement strategy and delivery for the Next Best Action (NBA) product. You will define a unified measurement framework, KPIs, and reporting that spans business outcomes, model performance, and operational metrics.

You will collaborate with data science, analytics, engineering, and business stakeholders to deliver trusted, decision-ready reporting and drive the product lifecycle from vision to value measurement.

Qualificações

  • Bachelor’s in Marketing, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5–9+ years of product management experience, including hands-on ownership of a product, measurement, or analytics capability in a complex, regulated environment (Healthcare, Financial Services, or comparable).
  • Product Ownership: Proven ability to own the product lifecycle end-to-end—strategy, roadmap, prioritization, requirements, delivery, and value measurement—working under minimal supervision.
  • Measurement & Critical Evaluation: Working knowledge of KPIs/OKRs, statistics, and measurement concepts; able to define metric frameworks, interpret analyses objectively, and translate data into decisions.
  • Cross-functional Leadership: Demonstrated ability to influence without authority, build relationships across data science and business teams, and align multiple teams around shared objectives.
  • Product Acumen: Experience with agile methodologies, backlog management, PI Planning, and defining measurable success metrics.
  • Technical Fluency: Awareness of modern technology and data/analytics concepts and the ability to accurately translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Financial Acumen: Ability to build a compelling business case, understand basic profit-and-loss drivers, and connect measurement work to financial outcomes.
  • Product Delivery Proficiency: Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle, Waterfall, and Agile Development Methodologies; working knowledge of Azure DevOps (ADO) and Jira Align.
  • Master’s degree or certification in Marketing, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Product or agile certification (e.g., CSPO, SAFe, PMP, or equivalent).

Responsabilidades

  • Define and communicate a compelling measurement strategy and roadmap for NBA, translating multi-year business goals and stakeholder questions into a unified, outcome-driven measurement approach.
  • Establish a KPI and metric framework that clearly distinguishes business KPIs / NBA effectiveness, model performance, and operational metrics, and connects each to the decisions it informs.
  • Own the measurement relationship across cross-functional and cross-data science teams, serving as the primary point of contact for measurement and reporting questions and decisions.
  • Partner with data science and analytics teams to align on model performance metrics, evaluation approaches, and how model outputs roll up into business and operational reporting.
  • Define, prioritize, and maintain the measurement and reporting backlog, continuously refining and re-sequencing based on stakeholder value, business impact, and changing priorities.
  • Create well-defined product requirements and acceptance criteria, validating report and dashboard designs with stakeholders before build.
  • Guide PI Planning and execution, providing clarifications for epics and features, engaging agile teams, and adjusting priorities based on team input and constraints.
  • Ensure quality and trust in reporting through appropriate validation, ensuring metrics are accurate, consistent, and clearly defined for every audience.
  • Establish product analytics and reporting that measure adoption, usage, and business outcomes, and report value back to stakeholders.
  • Generate regular reports and dashboards to track progress and derive actionable insights for continuous improvement and to inform future strategy and decision-making.
  • Use a data-informed approach to decision-making, iterating based on what is and isn’t working, and translating data into a compelling business case and customer story.
  • Critically evaluate information to identify flawed or misleading data, maintain objectivity when interpreting results, and use logic and evidence to support recommendations.
  • Identify opportunities for enhancement and submit idea canvases and business cases to expand measurement and reporting capabilities.
  • Articulate a clear vision and roadmap, influencing others both directly and indirectly, and leading through partnership and influence without authority.
  • Solve problems and make timely decisions, using independent judgment to analyze variable factors, navigate trade-offs, and determine the best course of action.
  • Lead and manage change, recognizing the need for change, championing it, and helping others adapt to new measurement standards and definitions.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior product managers, helping build a product-oriented, collaborative, and innovative culture.
  • Business-value focus: Always connects measurement work back to the decisions and outcomes it enables—not metrics for their own sake.
  • Analytically rigorous: Ensures metrics are accurate, consistent, and clearly defined; can prove the product is working.
  • Execution-oriented: Gets things done and doesn’t get stuck in planning; balances “perfect” against “good enough to launch and learn.”
  • Resilient and adaptable: Handles ambiguity, changing priorities, and setbacks, and leads others through uncertainty.
  • Strong communicator: Communicates proactively so stakeholders are never surprised; leverages the broader team rather than working as a lone wolf.
