Intuit is seeking a Lead Tax Processor and Subject Matter Expert (Level X5) within Payroll Tax Operations. You will own complex tax defect resolutions, manage SOP/KB governance, and coach a high-performing team to strengthen capabilities and reduce escalations.

The role emphasizes leadership, compliance governance, and cross-functional collaboration while handling high-stakes notices and amendments across state jurisdictions.

Formación

• 4+ years of payroll tax experience with complex tax defect resolution and multi-state filings.
• Lead roles or SME experience with mentoring or coaching junior staff.
• Expert knowledge of US payroll tax regulations including local/municipal programs.
• Advanced writing skills for SOPs and technical documents.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as real-time technical expert for TP1/TP2/TP3 staff and coach resolution paths.
• Own SOPs and KB article governance and approvals.
• Conduct formal coaching sessions at least quarterly using SBIC feedback model.
• Lead team huddles, QA sessions, and stand-up facilitation when needed.
• Oversee WIP, backlog and aging reports; advise staffing adjustments.
