Intuit is seeking a Lead Tax Processor and Subject Matter Expert to elevate Payroll Tax Operations. You will own complex tax resolutions, author SOPs, and drive team capability through structured coaching.

The role emphasizes governance, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced environment. The position supports flexible hours, virtual work, and potential bonuses and equity, with compensation aligned to market and location.

Formación

• 4+ years of payroll tax experience with complex tax defect resolution and multi-state filings.
• Experience as a lead, senior specialist, or SME with coaching or training responsibilities.
• Expert knowledge of tax filing regulations across US jurisdictions and local taxes.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as primary real-time technical expert for TP1–TP3 staff and resolve complex escalations.
• Author, review, and approve SOPs and KB articles across core operations.
• Conduct quarterly coaching sessions using SBIC feedback model to close skill gaps.
• Lead team huddles, QA sessions, and act as backup for daily stand-ups.
• Oversee WIP, backlog, aging reports and propose staffing changes to management.
• Resolve severe payroll tax notices and cross-jurisdictional penalties.
• Approve complex amended Federals and State returns with proper audit trails.
• Identify risks and communicate trends with data-driven recommendations.
• Represent team in cross-functional meetings and provide compliant options.
