Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Manager of Multimedia Development to lead a remote team creating graphics, animations, audio, and interactive learning experiences for K-12 learners. You will collaborate with curriculum, product, and external partners to align multimedia with instructional goals and accessibility standards.

The role combines people leadership with strategic decision making, driving high-quality outputs, and managing complex content challenges while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required; education, curriculum, or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of multimedia, graphics, or animation development experience; assets for asynchronous virtual learning preferred.
• Proven leadership and ability to deliver results as a team; detail-oriented with editing/proofreading experience a plus.
• Advanced knowledge of education management systems, LMS, and content management systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Azure DevOps; quick to learn other software platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of multimedia developers and support professional growth.
• Coordinate with curriculum development, product management, and cross-functional teams.
• Refine curriculum features and validate proofs of concept and MVP feedback.
• Direct internal and vendor multimedia teams to meet Pearson standards and timelines.
• Plan resources to ensure successful project execution.
• Design visually appealing interactive products.
