Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Manager of Multimedia Development for a home-based role, leading a team of designers and developers to create engaging K-12 multimedia assets. You will collaborate with curriculum, product, and partners to align with instructional goals and accessibility standards.

The role emphasizes leadership, strategic input, and delivery within deadlines, with a full-time salary range of $85,000–$100,000 and eligibility for Pearson’s incentive program. Remote work is supported.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; preferred in education or curriculum.
3–5 years in multimedia/graphics/animation with assets for asynchronous virtual learning.
Proven ability to lead a team and deliver results.
Advanced knowledge of LMS/education management systems.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and Azure DevOps.
Flexible, creative, strong communication and organizational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Manage a team of multimedia developers and support career growth.
Collaborate with curriculum development, product management, and partners.
Refine curriculum features, validate proof of concept and MVP feedback.
Direct internal and vendor multimedia teams to Pearson standards.
Plan resources to ensure successful project execution.
Design visually appealing interactive products.
Guide use of authoring tools and instructional strategies.
Apply analytical judgment to solve complex content problems.
Assist strategic decisions impacting the business.
Identify opportunities to leverage AI and scalable production approaches within multimedia workflows.
