Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Manager of Multimedia Development for a home-based role in the United States. You will lead a team of audio, visual, graphics, and animation developers to design and implement multimedia assets for K-12 learning, aligning with instructional goals and accessibility standards.

You will collaborate with curriculum, product and external partners to deliver high-quality experiences on schedule, while driving innovation through AI and scalable production approaches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; degree in education, curriculum, or similar area preferred.
• 3–5 years of multimedia, graphics, or animation development experience with assets for asynchronous virtual learning.
• Proven ability to lead a team and deliver results as a group.
• Detail-oriented with editing/proofreading experience preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of education management systems, LMS, or content management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of multimedia developers and support career growth and inclusion.
• Coordinate with curriculum development, product management, and agile teams.
• Direct internal and vendor teams to meet Pearson standards and timelines.
• Plan resources and people to ensure successful project execution.
• Design visually appealing interactive products and align tools with instructional goals.
