Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Manager of Multimedia Development to lead a team of designers and developers for K-12 interactive learning experiences. You will collaborate with curriculum, product management, and external partners to deliver high-quality multimedia aligned with instructional goals.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of leadership in multimedia; strong communication and project-management skills are essential. Remote, full-time with incentives and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; degree in education, curriculum, or similar area preferred.
• 3–5 years of multimedia, graphics, or animation development experience required.
• Proven ability to lead a team and deliver results as a team.
• Experience with education management systems or content management systems preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Azure DevOps; ability to learn other platforms quickly.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of multimedia developers and foster professional development.
• Communicate with cross-functional Agile teams and product management.
• Direct internal and vendor multimedia teams to meet Pearson’s standards.
• Plan and align resources to ensure successful project execution.
• Design visually appealing interactive products and ensure accessibility.
• Apply instructional strategies and analyze feedback for MVPs.
• Identify opportunities to leverage new technologies in multimedia workflows.
