Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Lead M365 & Identity Engineer to design, deploy, and optimize Microsoft 365 services and IAM across hybrid environments in a US remote setting.

You will lead teams, implement Conditional Access, Entra ID, RBAC, MFA, Okta integrations, and automation with PowerShell to improve security and operational efficiency.

US citizenship is required; a Bachelor's in CS/IT and 8+ years of hands‑on experience with M365 administration are expected.

Qualifications

8+ years hands-on M365 administration and engineering.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience with Identity & Access Management in enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain M365 services including Exchange Online and related tools.
Manage Entra ID identity services (CA, MFA, SSO, external identities).
Lead IAM tooling, RBAC, and privileged access management.
Develop automation using PowerShell and other scripting tools.
Collaborate with security, data center, and application teams.
