Job summary

Amentum is hiring a M365 & Identity Engineer, Lead to design, deploy, and optimize Microsoft 365 and IAM solutions. You will manage Entra ID, MFA, and lifecycle processes while coordinating across hybrid environments and cross-cloud services. Experience with Okta and governance is valued.

The role is US remote, requires US citizenship, and includes leading IT teams on small projects with strong security and compliance focus.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on M365 administration and engineering with a related bachelor’s degree.
• Experience in Identity & Access Management in enterprise environments; Okta preferred.
• Experience with Active Directory, Entra ID, External Identities (B2B), Conditional Access, RBAC, MFA, and identity lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, optimize, and support Microsoft 365 and IAM services.
• Manage Entra ID and Identity lifecycle, MFA, CA, and SSO integrations.
• Lead and mentor IT professionals on projects and best practices.
• Develop automation using PowerShell and other scripting tools.
• Monitor security posture, ensure high availability, and support audits.
