Job summary

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Lead, Systems Engineering for Link 22 responsible for requirements development, system design, configuration, integration, and training across airborne and maritime platforms.

Travel will vary with program phase and may involve international coordination. The ideal candidate will be a Link 22 SME with hands-on experience in architecture, interoperability, and test planning.

Qualifications

Active US Secret clearance or eligibility for TS/SCI.
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering technology or related field required.
Graduate degree preferred with 7+ years of related experience; or 13 years of experience in lieu of degree.
Experience translating customer/stakeholder needs into clear, testable system requirements.
Hands-on experience integrating and configuring Link 22 systems for airborne or ground-based platforms.
Familiarity with Link 16 and other tactical data links and their interoperability with Link 22.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary Link 22 subject matter expert across architecture, messaging, networks, and configurations.
Architect and design Link 22 data flows across multi-node environments and manage time slot assignment.
Develop exportable Link 22 configurations for multiple programs and customers.
Integrate Link 22 hardware/software including SNC, SPC, and LLC to ensure interoperability.
Plan and conduct Link 22 interoperability testing in lab and field environments.
Prepare and present technical information to non-technical stakeholders and government customers.
