Job summary

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Lead, Systems Engineering for Link 22. The role focuses on requirements, design, development, test, and integration of complex Link 22 systems for airborne and maritime platforms, with travel up to 50% during integration phases.

The candidate will serve as a subject matter expert in Link 22 data link systems, manage configurations, and ensure interoperability across platforms in a dynamic, agile engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Active US Secret clearance with eligibility for TS/SCI.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering technology with 9+ years of relevant experience, or graduate degree with 7+ years.
• In lieu of a degree, 13+ years of related experience.
• Ability to translate customer needs into clear system requirements and ensure verification.
• Experience creating TD L-scenarios for software development, integration, and testing.
• Hands-on experience integrating Link 22 hardware/software in airborne or ground systems.
• Experience with multi‑node, multi‑domain Link 22 data flows and NATO conformance testing.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary Link 22 subject matter expert on architecture, messages, and network design.
• Integrate Link 22 with airborne and maritime platforms for operational effectiveness.
• Design Link 22 data flows across multi‑node networks and manage configurations.
• Develop exportable Link 22 configurations for multiple programs and customers.
• Plan and execute interoperability testing in lab and field environments.
• Prepare presentations explaining Link 22 architecture to non-technical stakeholders.
