Progressive Leasing is seeking a Lead Engineer - Full-Stack to own architecture and delivery of web and API layers. You will guide a distributed engineering team, drive technical strategy, and mentor across time zones.

This remote role can be performed from anywhere in the continental US or at the Draper, Utah office. A strong background in Angular/C# API, BFF design, and AI-powered features is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of software development experience, with 5+ years in full-stack.
• Experience with AI-first engineering and AI tools.
• Strong OO design principles and UI/API architecture.
• Proven full-stack capability on UI and API layers.
• Cross-browser, mobile, responsive UI experience.
• Ability to lead distributed teams across time zones.
• Strong problem-solving and modular software mindset.
• CI/CD, Agile methods, open-source tech.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture and delivery of Angular UI and APIs/services.
• Define coding standards and best practices; drive AI-first mindset.
• Lead technical roadmap decisions aligned with product goals.
• Provide expertise across architecture, design, testing, deployment.
• Mentor engineers across time zones and conduct reviews.
• Develop and maintain observability, logging, and reliability.
