Job summary

Progressive Leasing seeks a Lead Engineer - Full-Stack (Remote) to own architecture and delivery across web and API layers. You will guide a distributed team and drive AI-first engineering strategies aligned with product goals.

Responsibilities include end-to-end feature delivery, architecture governance, code reviews, CI/CD improvements, and collaboration with Product, Design, QA, and Backend teams to scale high-throughput systems.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development experience with at least 5 years in full-stack.
• Experience with AI-first engineering and AI-powered features.
• Strong object-oriented design and architecture for UI and API.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture, quality, and delivery of web UI and APIs.
• Define coding standards and drive AI-first engineering initiatives.
• Lead code reviews and root-cause analysis of production issues.
• Deliver end-to-end features with CI/CD and observability practices.
