Job summary

Progressive Leasing is seeking a Lead Engineer - Full-Stack (Remote) to own the architecture and delivery of front-end Angular applications and backend APIs. You will guide a distributed engineering team, set coding standards, and drive AI-first engineering patterns across web and API layers.

You will lead technical roadmap decisions, ensure performance and security, and mentor engineers across time zones while collaborating with Product, Design, and QA to deliver scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years software development experience
• Strong full-stack capabilities across UI and API
• Experience with AI-native development patterns
• Proven ability to lead distributed teams across time zones

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture, quality, and delivery of the Angular application and related APIs/services
• Define and enforce coding standards, patterns, and best practices across mobile and full-stack development; drive the adoption of an AI-first mindset
• Drive technical roadmap decisions aligned with product goals and timelines
• Provide architectural guidance in web UI to backend API contracts and LLM integration
• Lead in-depth code reviews and root cause analyses of production issues
• Mentor distributed engineering teams and participate in hiring decisions
