Job summary

Honeywell is seeking a Lead Field Service Technician to evaluate, test, and maintain combustion systems at customer sites. You will work remotely from the Cleveland, Ohio area and report to the Field Service Manager, traveling 70–80% to locations nationwide.

You will diagnose issues, perform preventative maintenance, document activities, and collaborate with internal teams to improve reliability and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of field service or technical support experience.
• 3+ years knowledge of electronic, mechanical, or software systems (PLC a plus).
• 3+ years inspecting complex technical equipment.
• Experience using diagnostic tools and service management software.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willing to travel 70–80% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• After proper Honeywell-specific training, perform testing, maintenance, and preventative maintenance of combustion systems and equipment at customer sites.
• Identify and resolve technical issues to ensure safe system performance, efficiency and reliability.
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers in the field.
• Document service activities and maintain accurate records of work performed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement and customer satisfaction initiatives.
