Job summary

Honeywell is seeking a Lead Field Service Technician to evaluate, test, and maintain complex combustion systems at customer sites. You will work remotely from our US locations with 70–80% travel, supporting customers and internal teams to ensure safe and reliable operations.

Reporting to the Field Service Manager, you will perform testing and maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and document activities while driving continuous improvement and customer satisfaction in a dynamic field setting.

Qualifications

3+ years in field service or technical support role.
3+ years of technical knowledge in electronics, mechanics, or software related to Honeywell products; PLC knowledge a plus.
3+ years experience inspecting complex technical equipment.
Experience using diagnostic tools and service management software.
Valid driver’s license.
Willing to travel 70% to 80% domestically and occasionally internationally.

Responsibilities

Perform testing, maintenance, and preventive maintenance of combustion systems and equipment at customer sites.
Identify and resolve technical issues to ensure safe, efficient, reliable operation.
Provide on-site technical support and guidance to customers.
Document service activities and maintain accurate records.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
