Job summary

Kyndryl is seeking a Lead Experience Designer to own end-to-end design workstreams for complex client engagements, blending human-centered design with AI-enabled experiences. You will research, define requirements, prototype, and deliver dashboards, enterprise apps, and service designs.

You’ll collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and consultants, lead workshops, advocate for accessible and ethical AI, and ensure transparent, user-centered interactions across non-deterministic systems.

Qualifications

• 6–7 years of experience in experience design or a related field.
• Deep grounding in human-centered design methods and mindset with a portfolio of enterprise, consulting, or innovation-studio work.
• Ability to create journey maps and service blueprints for complex, multi-actor systems — including systems where some actors are AI agents.
• Hands-on experience designing AI-driven or agentic product experiences: human/AI interaction flows and non-deterministic interfaces.
• Ability to design and conduct generative and evaluative research and translate it into delivery.
• Fluency in Figma or similar tools and ability to create context-appropriate prototypes from low to high fidelity.
• Comfort facilitating co-creation sessions and presenting to clients; excellent English communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead design workstreams from discovery through delivery on client engagements including journeys, service blueprints, flows, wires, and prototypes.
• Design for human/AI collaboration with agentic workflows and hand-off moments.
• Conduct and apply research to inform design decisions and validate concepts.
• Facilitate workshops and collaborative sessions with clients and cross-functional teams.
• Deliver dashboards, enterprise web apps, and information visualizations; craft client presentations.
• Champion accessible, inclusive, and ethical AI with transparent automated behavior.
