Job summary

Kyndryl is seeking a Lead Experience Designer to own end-to-end design workstreams for client engagements, from research through prototyping and delivery. You will collaborate with clients, engineers, data scientists, and consultants to craft cohesive human/AI experiences and dashboards.

You will map journeys, build service blueprints, and define interaction patterns for non-deterministic systems, applying best practices for accessibility, inclusion, and transparency.

Qualifications

• 6–7 years of experience in experience design or a related field.
• Human-centered design: portfolio of enterprise, consulting, or innovation-studio work.
• Journey and service design for complex multi-actor systems including AI agents.
• Designing for AI: AI-driven or agentic product experiences with human/AI interaction.
• User research: plan and conduct generative and evaluative research and translate into delivery.
• Prototyping: fluency in Figma or similar tools and prototypes from low to high fidelity.
• Facilitation and storytelling: manage co-creation sessions and present to clients in English.
• Visual communication: strong information design and visual communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design workstreams: discovery through delivery on client engagements, producing journey maps, service blueprints, flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
• Design for human/AI collaboration: define agentic workflows and non-deterministic interaction patterns with clear user control.
• Conduct and apply research: plan and run generative/evaluative studies and translate findings for developers and PMs.
• Facilitate co-creation: run workshops aligning client stakeholders with engineers, data scientists, and technologists.
• Deliver traditional experience work: design dashboards, enterprise apps, and visualizations; create client presentations.
• Communicate and advocate: present decisions with clear rationale; lead reviews across discovery to delivery.
• Champion responsible design: advocate accessibility, inclusion, and ethical use of AI with transparency.
• Use AI in your own practice: apply AI-powered design tools to accelerate iteration while maintaining quality.
