Job summary

SES Constructors LLC is seeking a Lead Estimator to join its growing Civil Construction team. The role focuses on creating detailed estimates from plans, specifications, and scopes of work for self-perform civil projects.

Remote position requiring EST or CST availability with occasional travel. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, HSA, FSA, life and disability insurance, 401(k) matching, and PTO.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in construction management or civil engineering is required.
• Experience in self-perform contracting of civil infrastructure is essential.
• Knowledge of estimating software such as Bid2Win and HCSS Heavy Bid is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce self-perform heavy civil cost estimates based on project size and scope.
• Provide detailed quantity takeoffs and material lists to assess total costs.
• Source and analyze subcontractor and vendor quotes for best value.
• Identify risks and plan mitigations with the project team.
• Collaborate with field and office personnel to prepare estimates.
• Meet milestone reviews to ensure timely submission.
• Support constructability reviews and assess site conditions.
