Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or civil engineering required.
• Field experience in self-perform contracting of civil infrastructure scopes of work.
• Experience estimating federal projects preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and schedules.
• Experience with Bid2Win (B2W) and HCSS Heavy Bid or similar software.
• Must be able to obtain applicable security clearances if required.

Aufgaben

• Produce self-perform heavy civil cost estimates based on project size, scope and mix.
• Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and detailed material lists.
• Source and analyze subcontractor and vendor quotes for best-value partnerships.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Collaborate with field and office teams to prepare each estimate.
• Meet interim milestones for constructability and productivity reviews to meet deadlines.
• Support constructability reviews and obtain subcontractor pricing as needed.
• Interact with operations post-award for alternates and site-condition evaluations.
