SES Constructors LLC is seeking a Lead Estimator to join our Civil Construction team. This remote role requires EST or CST availability and occasional travel, with a focus on preparing detailed estimates from plans, specs, and scopes of work.

The ideal candidate will oversee heavy civil cost estimates, perform quantity takeoffs, evaluate subcontractor quotes, and identify risks. Collaboration with field and office professionals and adherence to deadlines are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or civil engineering is required.
• Experience in self-perform contracting of civil infrastructure scopes of work.
• Experience estimating federal projects is preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedules.
• Experience with Bid2Win (B2W) and HCSS Heavy Bid estimating software.

Responsabilidades

• Produce self-perform heavy civil cost estimates including crew assemblies and production rates.
• Furnish accurate quantity takeoff information for materials and total construction costs.
• Identify, source, and analyze subcontractor and vendor quotes for best value.
• Identify and evaluate risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Collaborate with field and office professionals to prepare estimates.
• Meet interim estimate milestones and undergo reviews to meet submission deadlines.
• Support constructability reviews and vet subcontractor pricing.
• Interact with Operations and post-award site needs.
