Job summary

SES Constructors LLC is expanding its civil construction team by hiring a Lead Estimator for remote work. The ideal candidate will prepare detailed estimates for self-perform heavy civil projects, using plans, specs, and scopes of work, with occasional travel as required.

You should have a bachelor’s degree in CM or civil engineering and hands-on experience with Bid2Win or HCSS, CPM scheduling, and subcontractor bidding. Strong collaboration with field and office teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CM or civil engineering.
• Experience in self-perform civil infrastructure work.
• Ability to read contracts, drawings, specs, and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Produce self-perform heavy civil cost estimates based on project scope.
• Provide detailed quantity takeoffs and material lists.
• Source and evaluate subcontractor quotes for best value.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Collaborate with field and office teams to finalize estimates.
• Meet milestone reviews and calibrate estimates for deadlines.
• Support constructability reviews and supplier pricing.
• Interface with Operations post-award as needed.
