Job summary

OWL Services is seeking a highly skilled Lead Civil Engineer to design, develop, and optimize systems for our construction and infrastructure projects. The role supports field investigations, permits, and project documentation, with a path for long-term growth.

This position offers the option to work 100% remotely. Candidates will bring PE licensure, site development experience, and strong BIM/AutoCAD skills, plus robust communication and time-management abilities.

Qualifications

• Licensed professional engineer (PE) with civil experience.
• Experience in site development including grading, storm water, utilities.
• Familiar with vehicular parking design and traffic impact studies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong BIM and AutoCAD skills.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and procure permits for building construction in the proper jurisdiction.
• Review contractor shop drawings.
• Respond to contractor RFIs.
• Conduct field investigations for accurate design and quality.
• Prepare project close-out and as-built docs.
• Develop methods to improve project delivery.
• Develop engineering design standards.
• Prepare product reports from data and trends.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
