Job summary

SB&O Inc is seeking an Experienced Civil Engineer to lead project teams, manage client relationships, and oversee civil engineering projects in land development and infrastructure. This role involves directing project efforts, supervising staff, and contributing to company operations, policy development, and marketing efforts.

You will lead land development projects from concept through construction, review grading and drainage plans, mentor staff, and coordinate with clients and regulators

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• CA PE license preferred (or ability to obtain within 12 months).
• 5+ years in land development or infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and stormwater modeling software.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• California driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead land development projects from concept through construction.
• Develop and review grading, drainage, and utility plans.
• Mentor junior engineers, designers, and CAD technicians.
• Collaborate with surveyors, architects, planners, and contractors.
• Communicate with clients and regulatory bodies to obtain permits.
• Lead client meetings and presentations as primary contact.
