Job summary

Worley seeks an experienced civil engineer in the United States to provide civil engineering services and technical supervision within the Civil engineering team.

Responsibilities include delivering projects on time and within budget, mentoring staff, and ensuring compliance with environmental requirements. The role covers earthworks, drainage, roads, rail, and utilities design within multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant discipline experience.
• Knowledge of applicable local and international standards and regulatory requirements.
• Fluent in English with excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver civil engineering services meeting specifications, on time and within budget.
• Supervise, guide and mentor junior and intermediate staff.
• Advise Lead Engineer and Project Management on environmental law requirements.
• Manage civil resource hours and schedule.
• Liaise with customers and resolve discrepancies between Worley and customer requirements.
• Keep up-to-date with developments in civil engineering.
• Site earthwork planning and land development; drainage design; roads and rail infrastructure.
