OWL Services is seeking a Lead Civil Engineer to design, develop, and improve systems across multiple sectors. The role emphasizes collaboration, rigorous permits handling, and field verification. This long-term opportunity may be 100% remote.

The ideal candidate will bring a PE license with civil site development experience, BIM/AutoCAD skills, and strong communication to drive projects and standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed professional engineer with civil engineering experience.
• Experience in site development (grading, storm water, utilities).
• Familiar with vehicular parking design and traffic studies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Email).
• Skilled in BIM and Autodesk products (AutoCAD).
• Able to use Adobe Acrobat.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong time management and prioritization.
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
• Organized with problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and procure permits for building and construction in jurisdiction.
• Review contractor shop drawings.
• Respond to information requests from contractors.
• Conduct field investigations for design implementation and construction quality.
• Prepare project close-out and as-built documentation.
• Develop methods and product types to improve delivery.
• Develop engineering design standards for the company.
• Prepare product reports by collecting and summarizing information.
• Maintain company reputation by complying with regulations.
