UnitedHealthcare is seeking a Supervising Behavioral Health Case Manager to provide clinical and operational leadership to a team while maintaining a manageable caseload. You will supervise staff, perform audits, and guide care coordination for members across the continuum.

The role requires a licensed behavioral health professional with at least 5 years of BH experience and 1+ year in case management. This position allows remote work from anywhere in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted behavioral health clinical license (Ph.D./Psy.D., LCPC, LMFT, LCSW, or RN).
• Nevada state license or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• 5+ years of behavioral health experience.
• 1+ years of case management experience.
• Knowledge of behavioral health levels of care, community resources, care transitions, crisis and safety planning, and social drivers of health.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise or lead staff, provide case consultation, and manage competing priorities.
• Demonstrated solid clinical documentation, auditing, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

• Conduct clinical consultations for complex cases and escalate when needed.
• Maintain a caseload and develop individualized care plans.
• Coordinate care across providers and settings; manage transitions.
• Perform quality audits of case files and ensure compliance.
• Support program and workflow improvements; develop templates and reports.
• Provide training and onboarding for staff.
• Collaborate with utilization management and health plan partners.
• Maintain licensure and protect confidentiality.
