Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Supervisor, Behavioral Health Case Management to lead the Behavioral Health Case Management team with a small caseload, coaching staff, ensuring quality and compliance, and advancing member outcomes.

This remote-friendly role requires an active behavioral health license, 5+ years of behavioral health experience and 1+ year in case management, with Nevada licensure or willingness to obtain it within 90 days. Salary ranges from $72,800 to $130,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted behavioral health license (Ph.D./Psy.D., LCPC, LMFT, LCSW, and/or RN).
• Nevada state license or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• 5+ years of behavioral health experience.
• 1+ years of case management experience.
• Knowledge of behavioral health levels of care, resources, transitions, crisis and safety planning, and social drivers of health.

Responsibilities

• Staff supervision and daily operations: lead case managers and care coordination staff; manage workload and coverage.
• Clinical consultation and difficult-case staffing: lead consultations for high-risk cases; identify barriers and coordinate care.
• Direct case management: maintain caseload, complete assessments, develop care plans, outreach, coordinate across providers.
• Care coordination and member support: assist with navigation, engagement, safety planning, and continuity of care.
• Quality auditing and compliance: conduct audits for accuracy, timeliness, and standards; support remediation.
• Audit follow-up and corrective action: communicate findings and drive coaching.
• Program and workflow oversight: support implementation of programs, templates, and reports.
• Training and onboarding: mentor staff and ensure documentation standards.
