Job summary

UnitedHealthcare is seeking a Supervisor, Behavioral Health Case Management to lead a team delivering high-quality behavioral health services. This remote role supports staff coaching, audits, and care coordination, with a focus on compliance and member outcomes.

You will maintain a manageable caseload, perform clinical consultations, and guide staff through complex cases while ensuring timely documentation and program oversight. A Nevada license or intent to obtain is required within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted behavioral health clinical license (Ph.D./Psy.D., LCPC, LMFT, LCSW, and/or RN).
• Nevada state license or willingness to obtain one within 90 days of hire.
• 5+ years of behavioral health experience.
• 1+ years of case management experience.
• Knowledge of behavioral health levels of care, community resources, care transitions, crisis and safety planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership for case managers and care coordination staff.
• Lead case consultations for complex, high-risk, or difficult cases.
• Maintain a caseload based on operational needs and complete assessments.
• Coordinate care across providers and settings and document timely activities.
• Complete routine audits of case files, care plans, and documentation for quality and compliance.
• Support implementation and maintenance of case management programs and templates.
