Job summary

Avyanna Technologies is seeking an experienced Test Automation Engineer to design and build automated frameworks and pipelines for federal messaging systems. The role focuses on improving release safety, velocity, and confidence across cross-system journeys, with remote work and on-site needs at times.

You will diagnose flaky tests, implement durable fixes, and contribute to quality metrics and release gates. A strong engineering background and 7+ years of hands-on testing are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/SE/IT or related field.
• 7+ years of relevant testing/QA experience.
• Proven design and build of automated test frameworks and pipelines.
• Experience with API, integration, end-to-end, and workflow testing.
• Ability to debug flaky tests and environment issues.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks and pipelines.
• Develop reliable automated tests for complex cross-system flows and CI/CD integration.
• Identify quality risks early and partner with engineers to prevent defects.
• Diagnose flaky tests and environment issues and implement durable fixes.
• Contribute to test standards, dashboards, and quality metrics.
• Provide testing inputs for sprint reporting and release-readiness reviews.
