Job summary

ACT, Inc. seeks a Lead Software Engineer in Quality Assurance to design, develop, implement, and support robust QA automation across the product suite.

You will lead cross-functional teams and contractors, driving efficiency and a growth mindset through a scalable test automation framework. You will mentor engineers, participate in design discussions, and own the automation roadmap from data structures to CI/CD deployment, with a focus on performance and reliability in a fast-paced Agile

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of progressive IT experience including test automation and QA leadership.
• Strong coding in Java or Python; experience with API test automation tools.
• Experience with CI/CD automation and QA in Agile/SAFe environments.
• Proven ability to design scalable test automation frameworks and data-driven tests.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement and support QA solutions and test automation.
• Lead cross-functional teams and contractors to drive efficiency and automation.
• Mentor engineers and participate in Scrum ceremonies in a BDD approach.
• Oversee test data management, QA metrics, and performance testing.
• Review code, drive automation framework improvements and tool selection.
