Job summary

VB Spine seeks a Lead Analyst – Commissions to own the end-to-end sales commission process, ensuring accurate calculations, timely payouts, and thorough reporting that drives sales growth.

You will design scalable commission models, dashboards, and analytics to meet evolving business needs; collaborate with Finance, Sales Operations, HR, and IT to support strategic objectives while maintaining SOX controls.

Qualifications

• Experience with sales compensation systems (Xactly, Varicent, Callidus, CaptivateIQ).
• Strong knowledge of sales compensation structures and incentive modeling.
• Familiarity with accounting principles and revenue recognition.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Own the full end-to-end sales commission process, including plan implementation, accurate calculations, adjustments, payouts, and reporting.
• Act as the primary point of contact for commission inquiries and issue resolution for sales teams and leadership.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable commission models, reports, dashboards, and analytics tools.
• Analyze commission plan performance and deliver actionable recommendations to optimize incentives.
• Collaborate with Finance, Sales Operations, HR, and IT to align commission structures with objectives.
• Manage updates and enhancements to the commission system (Xactly, Varicent, Callidus, CaptivateIQ).
• Lead process improvement and automation projects to reduce manual work and boost efficiency.
• Monitor compliance with SOX and audit standards related to compensation.
• Train and mentor junior analysts on best practices and tools.
