Job summary

Hidden Jobs is seeking a strategic leader to manage a team of conversation designers within a large-scale AI-for-professional-services platform. You will partner with Product, Engineering, Analytics, and AI groups to enhance AI-mediated customer experiences end to end.

The role emphasizes coaching, hiring, and shipping high-quality conversational experiences, with a focus on collaboration and using AI tools to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and developing teams in Conversation Design, Conversational AI, or a closely related field.
• Hands-on experience building and shipping conversational AI products or LLM-powered agents.
• Experience improving conversational quality through evaluation, optimization, experimentation, or A/B testing.
• Strong cross-functional partnership skills and the ability to translate strategic ideas into practical improvements.
• A collaborative, curious leadership style with confidence using AI tools in daily work.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop conversation designers through regular feedback, career support, and prioritization.
• Hire and onboard new designers as the team grows.
• Partner across Product, Engineering, Analytics, Machine Learning, and AI to ship effective conversational experiences.
• Own a strategic initiative such as improving evaluation, tooling, workflows, or quality practices.
• Use AI tools, experimentation, and customer insights to help the team work more effectively and improve output.
