Job summary

Appnovation seeks a Senior Manager, AI‑First Design to drive the design of enterprise AI platforms during a major transformation. You will work inside a cross‑functional team with engineers and product owners daily to shape scope, define priorities, and push concepts to working proofs in days rather than weeks.

This individual contributor role requires hands‑on design leadership, ownership of AI‑first design system pattern areas, and shipping patterns as code into the build pipeline to ensure

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of progressive UX design experience with a proven track record.
• Extensive AI‑driven design tooling and rapid prototyping experience.
• Experience designing Conversational UX (chat/voice) and agentic workflows.
• AI‑first mindset, able to push augmented workflows to accelerate delivery.
• Experience shipping design system components into engineering pipelines.
• WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility expertise across platforms.
• Robust portfolio with system‑level design thinking and AI patterns.
• Strong communication and leadership, able to influence without authority.

Responsibilities

• Act as a design partner within cross‑functional teams to deliver rapid prototypes.
• Lead the design of Agentic AI experiences and end‑to‑end conversational UX.
• Design and document assistant behaviors, tone, and trust cues.
• Own AI‑first design system patterns and ship them as code into pipelines.
• Create reusable playbooks and libraries for agentic workflows.
• Mentor peers on rapid prototyping, AI tools, and system integration.
• Frame problems, influence roadmaps, and tie design decisions to outcomes.
